Aluminum Welder-Assembler

Permanent position · Day shift · 40 h/week · $26 to $35/h · Sherbrooke

We are looking for a welder-assembler specialized in aluminum, with solid experience and excellent attention to detail, to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate works with autonomy and consistency, takes pride in a job well done and is motivated by quality and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Weld aluminum components according to established processes (MIG/TIG as needed)
  • Read, interpret and execute fabrication drawings
  • Perform assembly operations (adjustments, drilling, alignments, mechanical assemblies)
  • Participate in steel welding for occasional projects as needed
  • Check the dimensional and aesthetic conformity of the parts produced
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
  • Actively contribute to quality control and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively while being able to progress efficiently with minimal supervision

Desired profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aluminum welding
  • Excellent dexterity, precision and attention to detail
  • Ability to produce consistent, high-quality work
  • Strong sense of organization, rigour and respect for procedures
  • Positive, professional, proactive and solution-oriented attitude
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment based on respect

Certifications and requirements

  • CWB Aluminum certification (CSA W47.2 / W59) — a strong asset
  • Internal pre-hire skills test required

Working conditions

  • Permanent full-time position — 40 hours per week
  • Day shift
  • Salary: $26 to $35/h, depending on experience and skills
  • Equipment provided: helmet, boots, glasses, specialized gloves, tools
